Welcome to Day 2 of Gratitude Week at Heart Centered Living
Today's Topic is "What is Gratitude?"
When we feel into it, don't we all know what gratitude is?
Here's what gratitude is for me...
I believe that gratitude is all of the goodness in our lives including things that nurture us like a a comfy bed and a yummy meal as well as experiences that uplift us like spending time with people we love or experiencing the awe of a sunrise.
Like many of the good things in life, though, the key is not so much about knowing what something is but rather being it and actually experiencing it. So, I'd like to invite you to do this simple day 2 gratitude experience.
Day 2 Gratitude Practice:
Write down and/or say out lout at least 5 things you are grateful for and WHY you are grateful for them.
According to Happiness Expert, Shawn Achor, when you say why you are grateful for something, it amplifies the happiness effect. Try out this new and deeper gratitude practice and experience the difference.
