HEART CENTER
A
CENTER FOR HEART FOCUSED LIVING
|
About Heart Center
|
Although
it officially began in February, 2005, Heart Center actually began with
a dream Myra Tovey had in 1980.
In the dream, Myra was in a cave climbing
a very high rope ladder. There were no rails or support of any
kind to hold onto. The only thing Myra could do was stay
completely focused on each rung as she climbed higher and higher.
When Myra finally reached the top, she saw hundreds of candles,
and many people. As Myra knelt down, a man put a sword on her
left shoulder. That dream was an initiation which prepared her
for the work she does today, teaching people about living a heart
centered life
How do we stay focused with all of the
stresses and changes in the world and contribute to it in a meaningful
way? Heart Center classes and workshops teach that the intuitive
intelligence of the heart allows us to perceive the world differently.
Although it can be difficult to quiet one’s mind in today’s
busy world, heart centering is an effective tool for personal
development.
As planning began for the opening of Heart
Center, Myra knew that what would make it different was a heart
centered staff. It is required that anyone who offers services or
products at Heart Center be trained as a facilitator. The
facilitator’s training program requires that trainees must work with
Myra in classes and private sessions for a minimum of one year.
We are very proud of all the services and
products offered by Heart Center. It reflects a diversity of services
and products, all bound together in a unity of the heart. Come
and explore the wonderful offerings at Heart Center."
